  • World War I map ... read the directions & complete the coloring portion of the map.  Be very careful to follow the order.  Especially be careful on Step #1 & 3 (only one country each)

Today we talked a little bit about tomorrow's election (the presidential race & the 2 Michigan ballot proposals)

Here are some websites for those of you learning more:
  • Budget Hero ... Think the next President will have it easy?  Try balancing the Federal budget and find out for yourself.
  • Select A Candidate ... Which candidate's platform most matches you beliefs?  Answer the questions on this site and find out.  You might be surprised.
  • 270 to Win ... A site showing elcetoral college maps for ALL presidential elections our countries history.  Also contains an interactive map for the 2008 race.
  • Publius ... A website where you can look at YOUR ballot ahead of time to save time at the polls.  Links to information to help you sort through the decisions too.
EXTRA CREDIT OPPORTUNITY: Talk to somebody close to you and make sure that they vote in tomorrows election.  If they will talk to you about who they voted for and why, even better.  Then bring in their "I Voted Sticker".  Turn it in with your name.  Get Points!
